Winter In Pittsburgh

Friday, January 1, 2010

Hey everyone, hope you had a great holiday season and are looking forward to the NEW YEAR! After I finished up at Cedar Point the first week of November I moved back to Pittsburgh to spend some time with my family and friends. Other than working at my two normal jobs (tis the season for retail) I have been singing around town and auditioning for shows and summer employment. With the help of a few close friends I am also compiling a performance reel to send out to larger performances companies as well as cruise lines. As soon as it is finished I will also be posting it on my website in my MEDIA section so keep an eye out for it. Also in my free time I am prepping and looking forward to the upcoming summer stock audition circuit.

Looking back on this past year I couldn’t be happier about what I have accomplished. In the past 12 months I have been…

-directed in Parade by Tony Award Winner Michael Rupert

-performed in Starmakers written by Scott Wise and directed by Zeva Barzell

-performed in Point Park University’s New York and LA Showcases

-performed in Signed, Sealed, Delivered at Cedar Point receiving an IAAPA nomination

-performed with the Goodtime Ghouls in Cedar Point Halloweekends

-auditioned for many future opportunities

This year we lost my mentor and friend, Rodger Henderson. In the time that I spent with him he taught me many things about performing as well as how to be a better human being. I consider myself blessed to have known him, even if only for a short time. Rodger we love and miss you and above all look forward to passing on your wisdom and grace to the rest of the world.

I look forward to the New Year and all the opportunities that it may bring for all of us. See you in the NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
