Several months ago I was asked to sing in the one night performance of God Lives In Glass at the Smith Center. This original musical was based on a book by the same name. The author traveled the world asking children of various ages, races and creeds what God meant to them. The creative team then took these quotes, drawings, stories and turned them into songs. To say that this piece is beautiful and heartfelt is a given but seeing and singing “through the eyes of a child” was truly enlightening.
